To download the Pain theme, please log in your ThemeForest account and then go to ThemeForest download page. Locate to Pain theme and then download the installable WordPress file only.
Installation
Theme Installation via WordPress
When you download the theme from Themeforest, you will get an archive file in .zip extension.
You need to unzip that archive. When done, you should see Pain.zip (zip file name can be changed from version to version).
Please, follow the steps below to install Pain Theme.
Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Themes. Click Add new button, located at the top of the screen or Add new theme ( see screenshots below ).
Step 3 - Click on Upload button at the top of the screen.
Step 4 - Choose Pain.zip.
Step 5 - Wait while the theme is uploaded and installed then activate the theme.
Step 6 - After activating the theme a notice should appear on the top of the screen, click on begin installing plugins ( see screenshots below ).
Step 7 - Select all the plugin,change Bulk Actions drop to Install then click apply ( see screenshots below ).
Step 8 - Congratulation you are ready to use Pain, check the Initiate Steps part of our documentation to see what you may want to do before starting to edit your WordPress Site.
Common Theme Installation Problems
“Are you sure you want to do this?”
If you get the “Are you sure you want to do this” message
when installing Pain.zip file via WordPress, it means you have an
upload file size limit. Install the theme via FTP if this happens, or
ask your hosting company to increase the limit.
Missing stylesheet file
If you get an error saying that the stylesheet is missing,
then you have uploaded the wrong folder. Please check that you are
uploading the Pain.zip within the Theme Files folder. You have to
unzip the file that you download from Themeforest to find this.
If you are going to install the theme using FTP, you will need an FTP Client, such as FileZilla.
When you download the theme from Themeforest, you will get an archive file in .zip extension.
You need to unzip that archive. When done, you should see Pain Folder(folder name can be changed from version to version).
Please, follow the steps below to install the theme via FTP:
Step 1 - Log into your hosting space (server) via FTP client.
Step 2 - In extracted archive folder, find Pain folder
Step 3 - Upload the Pain folder to your server in path .../wp-content/themes/.
Step 4 - The uploaded path should be like this: .../wp-content/themes/Pain/
Step 5 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard and go to Appearance > Themes and activate the Pain Theme.
Step 6 - After activating the theme a notice should appear on the top of the screen, click on begin installing plugins ( see screenshots below ).
Step 7 - Select all the plugin,change Bulk Actions drop to Install then click apply ( see screenshots below ).
Step 8 - Congratulation you are ready to use Pain, check the First Steps part of our documentation to see what you may want to do before starting to edit your WordPress Site.

Before importing the dummy data Make sure you have all the plugin installed (if you want to use portfolio, team, testimonial, packages and woocommerce. You make sure to install all first ).
Error or Problem with Import of the Demo
If you have problems importing the demo ( example :
infinite loading, error 505 with when using wordpress importer ) then
you may have a problem with the server settings. Please create ticket in Our Support Center.
Step 1 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Install and Activate All Plugin.
Step 1 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Theme Options > Import/ Export.
Step 3 - Then Click on Import Demo
Step 4 - The Dummy content is really big and may takes more then 30 minutes to import depending where you are living, Do not interrupt/cancel the import process!
Step 6 - Done!

If you would like to learn the best practice of using Pain theme, you can import content from our demo web site. Importing theme is performed using XML file located in theme ZIP file downloaded from Themeforest and following these steps.
Note! Please enable Less Design before making any changes in Theme Options.If the script auto importing demo data doesn't works with your host, we had included demo data within the theme files, take a look at the folder /dummy-data
3.1. WordPress Importer
Step 1 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Tools > Import. Then click on WordPress ( bottom of the list ).
Step 3 - A window should appear click the Install now button which is on bottom right.
Step 4 - Click Activate
plugin & Run Importer. Then choose the content.xml file and
click upload file and import Do not interrupt/cancel the import process!
Step 6 - Done! But you still need to set the Menu, Homepage.
The importer should be run only once. If something went wrong and you need to import the content again, you may need to reset your WordPress.

Step 1 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard.

Initiate Steps
Theme Options
The theme comes with an extensive Theme Options Panel. From the Theme options panel you will be able to set or change the color of the theme, layout, header style, social icons and a lot more. You should take the time to go through all of these options to ensure that you are getting the most out of the theme. Click Appearance > Theme Options to access the Theme Options Panel.
Custom CSS
1. Please enable Less Design before making any changes in Theme Options.
2. If you want to custom css, you should add styles intoTheme Options > Custom CSS , not in style.css file. 'Custom CSS' will keep your changes in css forever even when updating the theme.
Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Theme Options > General .
Step 3 - Choose which part of the theme you want to modify.
Less Design To use the less design features.
Choose Body Layout - To modify Body layout with wide or boxed.
Body Background - To modify Body background with image, color, etc.
Show Box Style - To Enable/Disable Smoothscroll.
Smoothscroll - To Enable/Disable Smoothscroll.
Show Newsletter Popup Onload - To Enable/Disable Show Newsletter popup on load.
Step 4 - When you finish to customize the general options don't forget to save.
Step 1 - Go to Settings > Reading in your WordPress Dashboard panel.
Step 2 - Set "Front page displays" to a "Static Page".
Step 3 - In the drop down menu for "Front Page" choose a page which will be your home page.
Step 4 - Leave the drop down menu for "Posts page" empty, as this is not used by the theme.
Step 5 - Save changes.
Step 1 - Login to the WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - From the 'Appearance' menu on the left-hand side of the Dashboard, select the 'Menus' option to bring up the Menu Editor.
Step 3 - Select Create a new menu at the top of the page.
Step 4 - Enter a name for your new menu in the Menu Name box.
Step 5 - Click the Create Menu button.
Your menu is now defined, and you can now add pages to it (steps below).
The Screen Options allow you to choose which items you can use to add to a menu. Certain items, like Posts are hidden by default. The Screen Options are located in the top right corner of your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 1 - Locate the pane entitled Pages.
Step 2 - Within this pane, select the View All link to bring up a list of all the currently published Pages on your site.
Step 3 - Select the Pages that you want to add by clicking the checkbox next to each Page's title.
Step 4 - Click the Add to Menu button located at the bottom of this pane to add your selection(s) to the menu that you created in the previous step.
Step 5 - Click the Save Menu button once you've added all the menu items you want.
Your custom menu has now been saved.
Once you've created a menu and filled it with items, it's time to assign it to one of the theme pre-defined locations.
Step 1 - Go to Appearance > Menus and click Manage Locations.
Step 2 - Assign each Theme Location with a menu. You can assign menus to multiple Theme Locations.
Step 3 - Click the Save Changes button.
You can upload your logo image in the Theme Options. Please, follow the steps below to upload your logo & & favicon:
Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Logo.
Step 3 - Upload a Logo( Used For normal header ) and a Logo ( Used for Stick Header ).
You can upload your favicon image in the Theme Option or Appearance. Please, follow the steps below to upload your favicon:
Method 1 - Go to Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.
Method 2 - Upload your favicon. Should be a Png/Gif image.
Follow the steps below to find out how to change the page options:
Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Page .
Step 3 - Choose whether or not you would like to show page comments.
Step 4 - When you finish, don't forget to save.
For each page you can change the page layout/ page style color/ header.

Step 1 - Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Theme Options > Post Setting .
Step 3 - Choose which part of the Blog you want to modify.
Select Layout - Select layout for Archive Post.
Image Default - Select an image for Feature post.
Crop Image - Choose whether or not you would like to crop the image of post on your Archive Post.
Image Width - Enter the value of the width of image on your Archive Post.
Image Height - Enter the value of the height of image on your Archive Post.
Show Post Title - Choose whether or not you would like to show title of post on your Archive Post.
Show Post Info - Choose whether or not you would like to show info of post on your Archive Post.
Show Post Description - Choose whether or not you would like to show description of post on your Archive Post.
Excerpt Length - Insert the number of words you want to show in the post excerpts.
Excerpt More - Insert the character of words you want to show in the post excerpts.
Select Layout - Select an image for Feature post.
Select Layout - Select an image for Feature post.
Select Layout - Select layout of Single Post.
Crop Image - Choose whether or not you would like to crop the image of post on your Single Post.
Image Width - Enter the value of the width of image on your Single Post.
Image Height - Enter the value of the height of image on your Single Post.
Show Post Title - Choose whether or not you want to show Post Title.
Show Social Share - Choose whether or not you want to show Social Share.

Create Post
Step 1 - Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard).
Step 2 - Click the 'Posts' tab.
Step 3 - Click the 'Add New' sub-tab.
Step 4 - Start filling in the
blanks: enter your post title in the upper field, and enter your post
body content in the main post editing box below it.
Step 5 - As needed, select a category, add tags, post format, fill in the meta setings below the editor.
Step 6 - Upload a featured image for your Post.
Step 1 - Change Post Format to Gallery.
Step 2 - Scroll down until you see the Gallery Settings.
Step 3 - After finishing, Update your Post, it should looks like this

Step 1 - Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard)..
Step 2 - Click on Testimonial >Add New.
Step 3 - Enter the name of the customer or client in the post title field..
Step 4 - Add their feedback in the post body.
Step 5 - You can also add a photo or other image using the featured image field. This image will be displayed alongside the feedback. If you want to link back to the website or social media profile of the person who provided the testimonial, you can enter the address in the Website Link field.
Step 6 - Adding a link is a good idea as it allows your visitors to verify and find out more about your clients and customers, helping to increase your social proof and credibility and the value of the testimonials.
Step 7 - Provide company name.
Step 8 - Select or add new Testimonial Category and Testimonial Tag.
Step 9 - Provide the featured image. The image should have minimum width of 670px and minimum height of 500px.
Step 10 - You can Save draft, have a Preview before Publishing officially.

- You can edit a mail template for mail that is to be sent as a result of a form submission. You can use mail-tags in these fields.
- Mail (2) is another mail section which is optional. If you want to send a different mail to different user you can use Mail 2 section. This section works same as Mail section. To use this section simply check the Use Mail (2) box.

First of all, make sure of the plugin functionalities have been enabled from settings dashboard.
Within the same section, you can enable/disable the zoom functionality on products when the access take place from mobile devices.
Now, you can configure zoom settings on the product image.
Settings that can be configure are:
"Zoom box width/height" - width and height of the zoom box"Image size" - size of the image shown within the zoom box. When you change this option, you must regenerate thumbnails in order to make the plugin work correctly. To regenerate thumbnails, we suggest you use a free plugin like Regenerate Thumbnails.
"Zoom box position" - zoom box position in respect to product image (inner or aside)
"Loading label" - the label showed during the loading of the product images.
"Opacity" - the opacity of the magnifier.
"Blur" - enable this option to apply a blur effect to the product image on the mouse hover. This effect will be available only if the zoom box is on the right of the product image.
The plugin allows to show miniatures of the product within a slider. In order to do it, it is essential to activate "Activate slider".
Here is the list of settings you find within "Slider settings" section:
"Items" - the number of images to show under the product image."Circular carousel" - choose whether to roll product images in a circular way in the slider
"Infinite carousel" - choose whether the slider should be sequential showing the product images. If activated, once you reach the last image of the gallery, you will be redirected to the first one of the slider.
Step 1 - Log in to your WordPress Administration Panel (Dashboard) > Pages > All Pages.
Step 2 - Select the Page you want to add Shortcode then press Edit button.
Step 3 - Click Add element button.
Step 4 - Select Shortcode you want to add.
Step 1 - Hover on shortcode and click on 'Edit' button.
Step 2 - configure shortcode in setting box such as to select how many columns will display in product carousel.

Simply install Aqua_Child.zip like a regular WordPress theme.
A child theme is a theme that inherits the functionality of another theme, called the parent theme. Child themes allow you to modify, or add to the functionality of that parent theme. A child theme is the best, safest, and easiest way to modify an existing theme, whether you want to make a few tiny changes or extensive changes. Instead of modifying the theme files directly, you can create a child theme and override within.
There are a few reasons why you would want to use a child theme:

Theme Update
Theme Update via WordPress
Updating the theme via WordPress is very similar to the install process via WordPress.
Follow the steps below to update your theme via WordPress:
Step 1 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 2 - Go to Appearance > Themes.
Step 3 - Deactivate the Pain Theme by simply activating a different theme. Once you activate a different theme, you can delete the Pain theme.
Step 4 - Delete the Pain Theme. Do not worry, your content will not be lost!
Step 5 - Then simply upload the new “Pain.zip” file in the Appearance > Themes section. Click on the Install Themes tab at the top and choose to upload the zip file. You have this step explained in section: Theme Installation via WordPress.
Updating the theme via FTP is very similar to the install process via FTP.
Follow the steps below to update your theme via FTP:
Step 1 - Go to .../wp-content > themes
location on your server using a FTP client and backup your "Pain"
theme folder by saving it to your computer, or you can choose to simply
delete it. Your content will not be lost.
Step 2 - Download the new version of Pain theme from your Themeforest and retrieve Pain folder by unpacking the zip that you download from Themeforest and Pain_(version.number).zip.
Step 3 - Then simply drag and drop the new "Pain" theme folder into .../wp-content > themes location. Choose to “Replace” the current one if you did not delete it.
Step 4 - Log into your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes and activate the new Pain theme.
FAQs
Can I register my domain name at one company and host the site with another?
- You can either get your web host to increase your PHP limits.
- You can upload your theme via an FTP client. We offer a video tutorial located in the Video section of the forum that explains how to use FTP to install your theme.
- If you can access the admin area of your site, login to your admin section and deactivate all plugins. After doing so, check your front end page again. If it loads without error, you have a plugin conflict. Now, start activating each plugin one by one. When you see the 500 error again on the front end pages, you will know that the last plugin you activated is the likely culprit. Deactivate it and continue checking all remaining plugins one by one to make sure there are no others.
- If you are getting the 500 error on the front end and the back end admin area, then you will need to access your site via an FTP client. A little known trick is to change the name of your/wp-content/pluginsfolder to something else temporarily like “plugins.bak.” This will make WordPress ignore your plugins. Then check to see if this resolves the problem. If it does, log into your admin section and then change your plugin.bak folder back to plugins . Then deactivate all of your plugins via your admin page.

This most likely happens when you paste a code from a website with wrong formats. Sometimes the formatting error is done on the website where the code is available however most of the time, this error happens because you pasted the code on the wrong location. Unfortunately, you will not be able to make the edits using your wp-admin section. You will have to use FTP to login to your web host and modify your theme’s file.

You can verify your PHP configuration limits by installing a simple plugin found here. If you still cannot resolve the 500 error, talk with your web hosting support.
If you are installing your theme from the WordPress theme installer, but get a message that says "Are you sure you want to do this?", most likely your web server is configured with low PHP settings that only allow a certain size ZIP file to be uploaded via WP admin.
Most hosting companies configure their servers to only have the maximum file upload size limit at 8-10 MB, some are less. The Pain theme ZIP is currently about 34 MB in size which is due to the included plugins and all the demo content. So if you get this error, your web server is rejecting the upload due to the overall size of the Pain.zip file. WordPress is unfortunately giving you a rather ambiguous message in response. This is not a theme issue or bug.
There two ways to solve this problem.
